An Alberta Identification (ID) card is issued to Alberta residents who require a primary identification document, but do not drive.

Requirements

• Be 12 years of age or older.
• Provide acceptable identification
• Provide proof of residency (if you are a minor your parent can provide proof of residency on your behalf)
