The intransit permit allows you to drive a vehicle or trailer from point A to B. It is valid for 3-7 days depending on where the vehicle is going. If you are driving the vehicle within Alberta, you must only provide your valid insurance and your drivers licence. If you are driving the vehicle into or out of Alberta, you must provide your Bill of Sale (or other proof of ownership), your valid insurance and your drivers licence.
